MBM Chalets operates a private buying agent service exclusively for buyers looking to acquire in Verbier, La Tzoumaz and the wider 4 Vallées region. We are chalet owners ourselves and we know this market from the inside. Our longstanding relationships with owners, agents, notaries and local professionals across the region give our clients access to a world that most buyers simply cannot reach on their own.
As your buying agent, our sole objective is to find you the right property at the right price. We take the time to understand exactly what you are looking for and introduce only those properties that genuinely meet your needs. Our role is to represent your interests exclusively throughout the process, from the initial search through to completion.
We advise on the search, the negotiation and the Swiss purchase process on your behalf, working alongside the notaries, lawyers and other professionals who handle the legal and technical aspects, so you can focus on finding the right home rather than managing the complexity of buying one.

Off-market, on-market and early access.
We work with off-market and on-market opportunities. Some come through owners we know, including through our rental and management activity, who are quietly considering a sale. Others come through our partner relationships with local agents who give us early notice of properties coming to market before they are publicly advertised. Either way, our clients hear about the right properties before most buyers do.
Is the process confidential?

Every client engagement is handled with complete discretion. Owners share information with us on a confidential basis and we extend the same standard of confidentiality to our buyers. Nothing goes further than it needs to.
How do you support us through the buying process?
Guided through every stage.
Buying property in Switzerland brings its own requirements, from Lex Koller authorisation for eligible foreign buyers to Lex Weber’s secondary residence rules, notarial procedures, cantonal quotas and anti-money laundering compliance, whatever your background. We work closely with trusted local notaries, architects, interior designers and advisors to provide practical support and clear guidance from the initial search through to completion.

We charge a retained search fee on engagement and a success fee, referenced in our standard agreement which we are happy to share on request. Sellers know you are a signed-up, represented buyer, which immediately makes you attractive to them.

Selling Your Property
